Having seen the trailer for this ‘supernatural thriller’ almost every time I rented a movie in the last six months, I was intrigued to see what this was all about and I’m sad to say it was the most boring, slow moving, pointless ghostly drama I have seen in a very long time.
Andie MacDowell wanders around in her lab coat by day and her pajamas by night wondering if it is her late husband who is calling her at 12.15 precisely every morning or if it is her mysterious new neighbour who is renting a cottage property on her land.
The film has a very good cast including Margot Kidder in a kooky supporting role but the only thing it has going for it besides its cast is the beautiful Canadian scenery.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Boasting one of the worst dubbing jobs ever as well as the occasional bad edit, this stylish tale is quite possibly less scary than an episode of Scooby Doo.
