Screen Entertainment continue to bring the latest horror movies to UK audiences with this tale of an abusive boyfriend who would do anything to win back his girlfriend. Anything includes getting a sex change and killing any bitch who gets between him and his woman.
Jamie flees abusive Bobby and heads for the bright lights of Las Vegas Nevada to work the clubs, which ensures that there’s plenty boobies on show, if that’s your cup of tea.
Jamie had been so scared of men after Bobby that she has now turned to women, and so a plethora of bitchy strippers with lesbian tendencies soon start having their throats slashed by the ‘new’ Bobby.
The film, whilst not too dissimilar from the recently released ‘Hatchetman’, is actually quite enjoyable. It’s highly aesthetically pleasing, has a great soundtrack, decent acting and lots of gore too.
There wasn’t anything in this that I could actually complain about (a first for me!) apart from the subplot with the Grandmother who gets so wound up by watching ‘Casablanca’ that she has to be hospitalised. On reflection that was probably one of the lamest excuses to leave the female lead home alone for the finale but hey, at least it was original.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Switch Killer really does have it all, boobs, buns, bloodshed and a crazy tranny with a huge knife…..did I mention that there’s a chainsaw battle and a nod to ‘Final Destination’? Definitely worth a rent when it hits stores on April 11th.
