After watching this sequel, I was clueless as to what had just happened? A group of students sign up for some kind of extra curricular activity in an old mental hospital, only to discover that someone is trying to kill them.
Maybe it was just me, but I had no idea why the characters were there and it seemed as though the entire plot details were revealed within the last 10 minutes.
The cast were alright but the whole affair was bland from aesthetics to story to execution. More than one character was killed by being tied to a chair and wheeled along a corridor into a wooden wall, which in reality would have seen you with a bump on your head or a burst nose at worst, but they tried to depict this as a heinous crime and a horrific way to die. That wouldn’t even sprain your wrist.
OVERALL SUMMARY
A dull affair that retains none of the sense of fun and mystery present in the first film. A nice idea that was unfortunately poorly developed and executed.
