This film started out very well. I even thought it may have been an 80s slasher at first but it quickly got off the beaten track, which was ultimately its own downfall.
The film starts with a quadruple murder and follows the ensuing investigation but overcomplicates things in the process and ends up being another mediocre horror film.
You know those flashback scenes in films where they just use the same actor in a dodgy wig? Well there’s one of those that features a fat and balding middle aged man with a bad wig on in a sex scene with Linnea Quigley that was worth the rental price alone.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Joe Estevez was actually really good here as he wasn’t playing it for laughs and it was great to see Robert Z’Dar back in the genre too. This is one for fans of low budget horror only however.
