Jeremy Sisto stars as census taker Steve Kady who is sent to the sleepy little town of Rockwell Falls after it is discovered that the population has been 436 the entire time the town has existed.
This film looked as though it was going to be quite creepy with its sinister little set up, but it actually turned out to be one of the most boring ‘thrillers’ I’ve ever seen.
The cast were okay with Fred Durst playing a likeable deputy, but there was nothing special about any of them. Even Sisto looked like he was coasting.
You can probably guess what’s being going on in Rockwell Falls by the plot outline alone, but let’s just say it’s not as exciting as one would hope.
OVERALL SUMMARY
In short, Population 436 turned out to be a bland time waster that made me wish I’d picked up a book instead.
