This documentary looks at…well, the title says it all really, but what the cover art doesn’t say is that there are nuggets of horror gold to be had here, from Betsy Palmer’s quip about love making to the mention that Jamie Lee Curtis “really wanted to do Prom Night” to clarification on the whole Tommy Ross in the Friday the 13th series was based on Tom Savini malarkey. We also get a lot of gossip on My Bloody Valentine, Bloody Birthday and more.
The doc moves along at a decent pace and is segmented into easily digestible chunks so that those horror fans among us with short attention spans are never bored.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Whilst the format isn’t too dissimilar to all the previous horror docs, this one benefits from info on less familiar films, which makes it one to seek out for die hard horror fans.
