This low budget film which was written and directed by Mitchell Altieri and Phil Flores a.k.a The Butcher Brothers was slow and dull in my opinion. I really didnít enjoy it all that much.

The Hamiltons centres on the titular family who have been left to fend for themselves after the deaths of their parents. We learn about the collective through youngest sibling Francis, who is using an old camera to make a film about his family. It soon transpires that they hide some very dark and disturbing secrets.

I just couldnít get into this at all. Itís competently made and I have no doubts about the talents of the cast and crew but the whole thing just didnít work for me personally.

I donít consider myself a gorehound and Iím all for thinking manís horror but this was boring. Itís mildly shocking I guess (although it isnít really overtly violent or that gory) but I wasnít sure what to make of it.

I honestly think that if anyone out there is curious about this film, they should make up their own minds as they may like it, but I personally found it slightly tedious.
