The same mexican location and some cast members from ‘Final Stab’ appear in this homo-erotic tale of vampirism on a College campus.
Essentially a cheap and cheerful version of ‘The Lost Boys’ the film concerns freshman Chris. Why has head frat boy Devon suddenly begun to invite him to all the best parties? And why is Devon so desperate to make Chris one of the gang?
If you over-look such loop holes as classes beginning at a.m. and students taking tests on a Saturday you might find some enjoyment here. Whilst it is a tad repetitive, it unquestionably must have many fans, as it has already spawned sequels (one concerning Warlocks, the other Demons) and has seen Director David Decoteau’s production company able to
churn out numerous profitable projects every year.
Most of the cast are likeable enough, but at times Elizabeth Bruderman’s delivery felt a little bit too Miss American, but thankfully Michael Lutz doesn’t have many lines. The story may have looked good on paper, but in fact there isn’t enough action going on which is dissappointing as we are subjected to over long soft porn scenes, or lenghty scenes of characters complaining about how unlucky they are.
OVERALL SUMMARY
We’ve all seen better but it’s not too bad if you have nothing else to watch. Most viewers will already be familiar with the Dirtector’s work and therefore shouldn’t be too disappointed.
