    Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)

This Steve Miner film is as generic and ho-hum as they come; Now grown
Jason Vorhees hacks horny campers to death to avenge his nutbar mother’s
    demise.

Well, at least it moves more than the first film, which had a
great ending surrounded by about minutes of tedium. Here we have one or
two OK-looking women, but the girl who plays Vicki (and looks like a
younger, hotter Karen Allen) gets two points taken off for a) Cowering in
the corner like a baby when ‘ol Potato Sack Vorhees comes after her, and
    b) For searching for a missing disabled character up…stairs…good God!
(Being in a wheelchair, I’m a bit sensitive about that).

Anyhow, said guy-in-wheelchair is victim to the film’s best scene, one of the most inventive and amusing (quite ironic actually) death scenes ever put to
film (hey, I never said I was THAT sensitive). It’s the only inventive
thing in the whole film, which starts off with a fifteen minute flashback,
that truly is pitiful and spends the rest with nondescript characters and
    atrocious dialogue.

This and said good-looking chicks make the film better
than the first film, but a lead chick with a face like Laraine Newman from
SNL and a main villain who runs around with a sack on his head, are the
    final straw.

    OVERALL SUMMARY
Fans may disagree, but this bargain basement film is one you really can
afford to skip, watch parts and instead, or better yet, try
    ‘Halloween’ or ‘Black Christmas’.
