Chucky is brought back to life by the manufacturers of the good guy dolls in an attempt to dispell the rumours about the murderous doll.
He tracks down Andy who is now in care after his mum refused to cover up the story and sets out to terrorise Andy’s new family.
The film opens with some hauntingly beautiful music by Graeme Revell as we watch the doll being remade before he quickly gets down to business with
gory deaths aplenty.
There are a number of highlights here including set pieces in a school and the finale which is set in the good guys manufacturers warehouse, which is
suitably eerie.
The cast are all familiar faces and Christine Elise (Kyle) provides fans with one of the best characters in the series, and Chucky has great one
liners again.
This film was in no way as scary as the original, but correctly upped the ante by providing us more deaths, more jumps, more laughs and more
ambition.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Just as good as the original, but I have to say this is my personal
favourite in the series.
