This latest movie from the excellent hardgore label starts off promisingly enough before turning into a budget version of Valentine, as a graphic designer at a magazine is stalked by a creepy boy from school that no-one liked.
Yuko has recently received a strange letter which stated ‘you were supposed to marry me’ which has caused her nightmares, and when she receives an even scarier piece of mail at her High School reunion she realizes that her life may actually be in danger.
Utterly predictable, poorly acted in places, over the top in others and all together just plain and cheap looking, the film is watchable but is hardly a revelation in the genre.
The film is more watchable than say The Isle, and there are definitely moments which you may find sickening but the make-up effects and score are truly laughable. If I hadn’t watched the making of I would have thought this was a student film, but the behind the scenes footage made it look more professional as you could see they worked in studios and even used CG although it turned out awful.
OVERALL SUMMARY
I’m getting sick of these Asian horror movies now, as they are even more derivative than Hollywood ones.
