This film deals with a psycho bumping off teens who are ‘making out’ in the woods, on the edge of a posh boarding school.
The cast do adequate jobs I suppose, but the script, and in particular the dialogue, are awful. For example, in one scene where two potential victims break into the science building to steal answers to a test, one of the girls states that her dad won’t just kill her if she fails…he’ll take her car away.
My biggest gripe is the cheesy American influence. Our lead female is called Mary Huston and is from Texas (please!) and the headmistress is called Virginia Sheffield…I think she’s a dual citizen between America and Britain.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Blood Moon is a hoary old late 80’s leftover that looks good and has a good amount of gore and boobs, but not much else going for it.
