Nicollette Sheridan stars in this DTV thriller about a transplant recipient who begins to see visions of her donor’s murder. She soon discovers that her donor was written off as a suicide, and begins a quest to bring the girl’s killer to justice. As with any other movie in this sub-genre, no one believes our female protagonist until she begins getting herself into some serious trouble.
Sometimes life hands you an opportunity and you just have to take a chance, and that’s exactly what I did when I saw this for sale at the great rate of just 97p in Tesco. Heck what’s one more film in the duff pile if the risk didn’t pay off?
I’m pleased to report that for under a quid I got my money’s worth, as this film gives you everything you would expect from a movie like this.
Nicollette Sheridan does fine despite some clumsily executed parts (I blame the script and the filmmakers) and it’s always cool to see Gordon Currie in a genre pic.
The film looks really good with all kinds of beautiful scenic shots (I love Vancouver) and well lit night time sequences all coming over easy on the eye.
The plot has been done to death and it’s obvious who the killer is, but it keeps you watching throughout.
OVERALL SUMMARY
It’s nothing special, but I’m off sick just now so it was the perfect no brainer for an afternoon tucked up in bed with a hot lemsip. The ending is pretty abrupt but it works I guess.
