This sequel to the 2002 film has to be the worst in the series thanks to overly ambitious special effects, bad acting…alright, horrendous acting, clichéd stereotypes for characters and no plot.
Tony Todd is shamelessly wasted as an obsessed farmer who accidentally kills a kid, which of course resurrects the scarecrow.
The main characters do the dumbest things and the CGI is so bad they shouldn’t have even bothered trying.
The only redeeming features present are a couple of nice shots and a good bloody kill.
With annoyingly vile characters running around back and forth between the same locations and a terrible finale, this film left me wondering how it ever got made. Didn’t anyone read the script?
OVERALL SUMMARY
One of the worst horror movies ever made, I fail to see how they could have gone so wrong considering the number of talented individuals involved. This only goes to prove that if you keep things simple and practical, they can be far more effective.
